When is Dozer Day®?

Dozer Day® Kansas City is November 4 & 5, 2023.

Gates open at 11:00 am and close at 4:00 pm.

The event will open one hour early (10:00 am) both Saturday and Sunday exclusively for our valued sponsors and their guests. To experience the “Very Important Operator” segment of Dozer Day®, please consider sponsoring this event. Sponsorship can be completed online at here.

What is the ideal age for Dozer Day®?

Dozer Day® has something for ALL ages!

Kids (size permitting) get to hop into heavy, construction equipment and operate the machines guided by in-cab, experienced equipment operators. For big kids (ages 12-112 yrs old), there are additional machines that are fun and safe to operate without in-cab guidance.

In addition to big rigs, you’ll find awesome activities like the tire crawl and kids’ dig, fun contests, lots of sponsor giveaways, and much more.

How much do Dozer Day® tickets and parking cost?

Pre-sale tickets for Dozer Day are $17 for ages 2-102 years old. Ticket prices increase to $20 if purchased the weekend of Dozer Day®.

Please note: Everyone 2 years old and older needs a ticket for entry.

Parking fees will be updated closer to our event dates.

Do adults need tickets for entry?

Yes, everyone 2 years and older need a ticket for entry. All proceeds from the event benefit community and nonprofit organizations throughout the area. For a complete list of those who have benefitted from Dozer Day®, click here.

Can we get a grant for Dozer Day® tickets?

Children’s not-for-profit organizations may be eligible for free or reduced-price tickets.

Please email requests on non-profit letterhead along with IRS tax-exempt documentation to Bob Snyder.

Are Dozer Day® reservations refundable?

Tickets are NOT refundable or adjustable, but please be assured the donation benefits many great children’s charities.

Who are the main sponsors for Dozer Day®?

Are animals allowed at the event?

Only service animals are admitted for entry.

Where did Dozer Day® Start?

The first “Dozer Day®” was held in Wisconsin and hosted by Halquist Stone and benefited local schools. In 2008 the Nutter Foundation acquired the rights to Dozer Day® and trademarked the event.
